For several months I have been making fifteen whisky presentation cases for Sedbergh School which celebrates its Quincentenary this year. The School will produce three different malt whiskies and has asked me to make cases for bottle numbers 1-5.
I have been working with Anne’s godson who is a prototype engineer working with CNC machines. A near neighbour who specialises in painting Russian orthodox icons is highlighting the CNC work with gold leaf and a saddle-maker friend has made some beautiful bridle leather coasters for each box. I’m in the process of assembly and finishing. It’s exciting to see them coming together and I’ll post more about them in due course.
